In the Tyra, the focus is on the character of the stones themselves. Raw Yellow Sapphire shows the natural golden colour of corundum — a mineral prized for its durability and rich internal light. Alongside it is Chrome Diopside, whose intensely deep green comes from chromium in the crystal structure. No enhancements, no cutting. Both stones are used exactly as they form in the earth, with their original surface and tone intact.
The two minerals are arranged in two clean lines across the front of the barrel ring, set using German Kabirski’s own technique for raw gemstones — following the natural outline of each stone rather than cutting them to standard shapes. The ring is handcrafted in 925 sterling silver plated with 14K gold, giving a warm metallic frame to the contrasting yellow and green minerals.
