Behind the Gold—A Journey Through Global Craftsmanship

This May 2026, we’re launching something we’re genuinely excited about: “Behind the Gold,” an exclusive interview series that pulls back the curtain on jewelry-making around the world.

But this isn’t just about showing you pretty workshops. It’s about celebrating the artisans, designers, and makers who create unique pieces of art.

Why Global Sourcing?

Here’s a question we get asked: Why do you source from so many different countries?

The honest answer: because the world is full of incredible craftspeople, and limiting ourselves to one region would mean missing out on unique designs, techniques, and perspectives.

We source from Dubai, India, Thailand, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Belgium—each region brings something different to the table. Dubai offers modern, trend-driven designs in precious metals. Italy brings centuries of heritage craftsmanship. India offers innovative techniques at competitive prices. Thailand specializes in intricate, artistic pieces.

No single country has a monopoly on great jewelry. Neither should we.

What “Behind the Gold” Will Show You

Each episode features a different maker, manufacturer, or designer. You’ll see:

· How a ring is cast, finished, and quality-checked

· The story behind a designer’s inspiration

· The techniques that make a piece unique

We’re not just showing you the product. We’re showing you the why—why this maker matters, why their technique is special, why their designs deserve a place as jewelry piece of art.

The Multicultural Advantage

I’ve spent 10+ years working in international markets across EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India, Africa). I’ve lived in Brussels, worked with teams from dozens of countries, and learned that the best ideas come from diverse perspectives.

That experience shaped how we source, how we design, and how we tell stories. Orosenda isn’t just a shop—it’s a bridge between cultures and craftspeople.
